Deleting your data
Last updated 1 October 2026
You can ask for the data StudioBuilder holds about you to be deleted at any time. How depends on who you are.
If you run a studio or are an artist on StudioBuilder
- Disconnect Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp: go to Settings → Messaging and choose Disconnect. We stop receiving your messages straight away and delete the access tokens we held. You can also remove StudioBuilder from your Facebook or Instagram settings under Apps and websites.
- Disconnect Google Calendar: go to My details → Google Calendar → Disconnect.
- Delete a client and their messages: open the client in StudioBuilder and delete them. Their projects, messages and forms go with them.
- Close your account and delete everything: email privacy@studiobuilder.io from your account's email address. We confirm by email and delete your studio's data within 30 days. If you simply cancel your plan, your data is deleted 90 days after it ends.
If you messaged or booked with a studio that uses StudioBuilder
The studio controls your information. Ask the studio to delete it; they can do so in StudioBuilder at any time. If you can't reach them, email privacy@studiobuilder.io with the studio's name and the email, phone number or Instagram account you used, and we'll make sure it's dealt with within one month.
Messages from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
When a studio connects Instagram, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, we store the messages sent to and from that studio so they appear in its inbox. We don't use them for anything else, we don't sell them, and they're deleted when the studio deletes the conversation, the client, or its account, or when you ask as described above.
More detail is in our privacy policy.
